On September 23-26, 2013 in Shenyang city the International "North-East Forum for Patent Technologies" and the Exhibition were held, arranged by the Committee for science and technology of Liaoning province. The main topics: innovative technologies, new materials, energetics, biotechnology, medicine, pharmaceuticals, as well as environmental protection and ecological safety.

In the continuation of fruitful scientific and technical cooperation between Saint-Petersburg and Shenyang with the assistance of Asia and Pacific collaboration Center, the Saint-Petersburg State Polytechnic University, Saint-Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation and Institute for Molecular Medicine (FIMM) participated in Forum and Exhibition. The Russian delegation consisted of 12 people, headed by the APCC general director.

Moreover Chinese and foreign manufacturing companies, research institutions and trading companies of China, the Republic of Korea, the U.S., Canada, Finland and other countries participated in the Forum.
